"Metaphor" is a motivating and optimistic poem that represents each day as a new start. It shows us that there is always a brand-new unspoiled tomorrow. The poet tries to inspire hope by satisfying us that all awful memories can be assembled together and obliterated. Just wake up every morning and forget what had happened yesterday, turn the dirty page to a blank one and start filling it up by your actions. I like the poem because it has a positive influence which made me cheerful.
